Aug 22 - 23, 2026
Abstract Deadline: Jul 18, 2026
About This Conference
The International Conference on Natural Language Processing (ICON) is one of Asia's leading forums for NLP research, now in its fifteenth edition. ICON covers the full spectrum of natural language understanding and generation, from foundational linguistic resources and morphological analysis to end-to-end systems for machine translation, information extraction, and dialogue. The conference places particular emphasis on South Asian and other low-resource languages, and on the linguistic diversity that makes multilingual NLP both challenging and essential. ICON fosters a vibrant research community spanning academics, industry practitioners, and computational linguists.
Call for Papers
Submissions are invited on all aspects of natural language processing and computational linguistics, including morphology, syntax, semantics, discourse, machine translation, information extraction, sentiment analysis, question answering, text summarization, dialogue systems, NLP for low-resource languages, and evaluation of language models. Resource papers presenting annotated corpora or linguistic databases are also welcome.
