About This Conference
The Conference of the European Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (EACL) is one of the three major annual ACL venues, dedicated to computational linguistics and natural language processing research with particular resonance for the diverse linguistic landscape of Europe and beyond. Now in its twentieth edition, EACL covers the full range of NLP research — from theoretical linguistics and formal language models to applied systems for translation, information extraction, and dialogue — with a strong commitment to multilingual and cross-lingual research and to the study of under-resourced European and world languages.
Call for Papers
EACL invites original submissions on all areas of computational linguistics and natural language processing, including syntax and parsing, semantics, discourse and pragmatics, machine translation, information extraction, question answering, dialogue and conversational AI, multilingual NLP, low-resource language processing, NLP evaluation methodologies, ethics in NLP, and NLP applications. Long papers, short papers, system demonstrations, and findings papers are all accepted.
