28th AGILE Conference on Geographic Information Science

About This Conference
The 28th AGILE Conference on Geographic Information Science is the annual meeting of the Association of Geographic Information Laboratories in Europe, dedicated to advancing GIScience through original research on the representation, analysis, and communication of geographic information. Topics span spatial data infrastructures, geospatial AI, map generalization, location-based services, participatory GIS, remote sensing data integration, and the ethical and societal dimensions of geographic data collection and use.

The conference is the primary European forum for GIScience researchers, geographers, cartographers, urban planners, and computer scientists who work with spatial data. Its long history and established community make it a reliable venue for presenting methodological innovations in geographic information handling, and its European focus means that cross-border data integration, multi-lingual geographic information, and pan-European spatial data policy receive attention they might not get at more globally distributed conferences.
