Cultivating PEACE Qualities: An Integrative Framework for Personal and Societal Well‑Being
About This Conference
This interdisciplinary conference, held in Bengaluru, India, brings together researchers, clinicians, educators, and policymakers to explore an integrative model encompassing the psychological qualities that underpin individual flourishing and collective harmony. The conference examines how attributes such as empathy, acceptance, compassion, equanimity, and authentic engagement can be cultivated across diverse cultural and institutional contexts. Drawing from positive psychology, contemplative science, neuroscience, and social work, attendees will discuss evidence-based interventions, community-level programs, and policy initiatives designed to promote mental well-being and prosocial behavior at scale. The event serves as a unique forum where Eastern and Western psychological traditions converge to address the demand for scalable well-being solutions in education, healthcare, and public life.
