デジタルアーカイブ学会 第11回研究大会
About This Conference
The 11th Annual Research Conference of the Digital Archive Society of Japan, held in Osaka, brings together archivists, librarians, information scientists, and digital humanities scholars to advance the theory and practice of digital archiving. The conference examines methods for long-term digital preservation, metadata standards, semantic interoperability, and the application of AI technologies — including machine learning for automatic metadata generation and large language models for archival content retrieval — to Japan's rich cultural and historical collections. With Japan home to some of the world's most extensive manuscript, photographic, and media archives, this annual gathering plays a pivotal role in shaping national digital heritage strategy and informing international best practices in digital memory institutions.
