ForenSoc'27 – International Forensic Social Sciences Conference

ForenSoc'27 – International Forensic Social Sciences Conference is an international hybrid academic conference taking place on 5–7 February 2027 in Istanbul, Türkiye, and online.

Organized by the Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences (BAFS) and co-organized by Istanbul Medipol University, the conference brings together researchers, academics, practitioners, professionals, and students from forensic sciences, criminology, psychology, sociology, law, medicine, policing, communication, media studies, child protection, human rights, and related disciplines.

The scientific programme will explore the intersections between forensic sciences, society, justice, institutions, human behaviour, victimization, trauma, rights, communication, and emerging digital challenges.

Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations. The abstract submission deadline is 13 November 2026.

ForenSoc ’27 welcomes abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations on a broad range of topics related to forensic social sciences. Contributions from forensic sciences, social sciences, law, psychology, criminology, sociology, medicine, policing, communication, media studies, digital society, human rights, child protection, and related fields are welcome.

Abstracts are welcome under the broad conference themes listed below. These themes are intended as guiding areas and do not limit the scope of submissions. Authors may select “Other related topic” in the submission form if their work does not clearly fall under one of the listed themes.
