HC@AIxIA 2026: Human-Centered AI Workshop at AIxIA 2026

HC@AIxIA 2026 is a dedicated workshop on Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence held as part of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence conference (AIxIA 2026), bringing together researchers exploring the intersection of AI technologies and human values, cognition, and well-being. The workshop examines how AI systems can be designed to support and augment human capabilities, with particular attention to healthcare, clinical decision support, and user experience in AI-driven environments. By fostering dialogue between AI researchers, cognitive scientists, and domain experts, HC@AIxIA promotes the development of responsible and human-aligned intelligent systems.

We invite submissions on human-centered AI design, explainable AI, AI applications in healthcare and medicine, cognitive modeling, user studies of AI systems, and ethical considerations in human-AI interaction. Both full research papers and position papers presenting novel perspectives on human-centered approaches are welcome.
