IEEE BIBM 2026 Undergraduate and High School Symposium
About This Conference
The IEEE BIBM Undergraduate and High School Symposium provides an inclusive platform for the next generation of researchers to present their work in bioinformatics and biomedical computing. Hosted under the umbrella of the IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine, the symposium is designed to expose young scientists to the interdisciplinary world of computational biology, genomics, and health informatics. Participants gain experience presenting research, receiving expert feedback, and engaging with the broader biomedical computing community. The symposium actively nurtures early interest in careers spanning biology, medicine, and computer science.
Call for Papers
We invite undergraduate and high school students to submit original research in bioinformatics, computational biology, biomedical data analysis, genomics, proteomics, health informatics, and related areas. Projects demonstrating student-led investigation, creative methodology, or novel application of computational tools to biological problems are particularly encouraged. Mentored research projects and science fair-style investigations are welcome.
