RE-SENSITISING THE IMAGE IN THE POSTDIGITAL AGE

This conference in Cluj-Napoca brings together film scholars, media artists, and digital culture researchers to interrogate what it means to engage with images in the postdigital age, when the boundaries between analogue and digital, material and virtual, are increasingly blurred. Topics range from the phenomenology of the moving image and cinema's evolving ontology to new media art practices, algorithmic aesthetics, and the cultural politics of visual reproduction in networked environments. The event encourages critical and creative perspectives from both humanistic and artistic research traditions.
