SampTA 2025: International Conference on Sampling Theory and Applications
About This Conference
SampTA 2025, the International Conference on Sampling Theory and Applications, is the biennial meeting of an international community devoted to the mathematical theory of sampling — the science of when and how continuous signals can be perfectly reconstructed from discrete measurements — and its applications in signal processing, communications, imaging, and machine learning. Topics include the classical Shannon-Nyquist framework and its generalizations, compressed sensing, non-uniform sampling, frames and wavelets, harmonic analysis, and the connections between sampling theory and modern deep learning.
Sampling theory is foundational to virtually all of modern digital signal processing and communications technology, and SampTA is the venue where the mathematical community that keeps that theory advancing meets. Applied mathematicians, electrical engineers, signal processing researchers, and machine learning theorists who care about the mathematical underpinnings of their methods will all find the conference rewarding. The biennial format and international scope make it a particularly important gathering for PhD students entering this mathematically rich field.
