The 2nd Workshop on Misinformation Detection in the Era of LLMs
About This Conference
The 2nd Workshop on Misinformation Detection in the Era of LLMs examines one of the most pressing societal challenges of the current AI moment: as large language models make it trivially easy to generate fluent, convincing false content at scale, the tools and methods for detecting and mitigating misinformation must evolve rapidly to keep pace. The workshop brings urgency and technical rigor to this challenge.
NLP researchers, computational social scientists, journalists, and platform trust-and-safety professionals gather to present advances in fact-checking automation, claim detection, evidence retrieval, LLM-generated content detection, and the design of robust misinformation benchmarks. The 2nd edition builds on lessons from the inaugural workshop and engages with how LLM capabilities have shifted both the threat landscape and the detection toolkit since then. It is essential for anyone working at the intersection of AI capabilities and information integrity.
