The Joint 25th Nordic Conference on Computational Linguistics and 11th Baltic Conference on Human Language Technologies
About This Conference
The Joint 25th Nordic Conference on Computational Linguistics (NoDaLiDa) and 11th Baltic Conference on Human Language Technologies (Baltic HLT) 2025 unites two established regional conferences into a single major event for computational linguistics and language technology research in Northern Europe. The joint program covers all aspects of NLP and speech processing, with particular attention to the Nordic and Baltic languages — Finnish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian — and the unique linguistic and resource challenges they present.
This joint event strengthens collaboration among research communities that share geographic proximity and common challenges in low-resource NLP, morphologically complex languages, and multilingual systems. It attracts academic computational linguists, speech researchers, language technologists from industry, and graduate students from across the region, and provides a vital platform for work on languages that receive less attention in English-dominated NLP venues.
