Workshop: Knowledge on Nature and the Nature of Knowledge

This workshop at Humboldt University Berlin, part of the project 'Looking across Worlds for Environmental Justice,' invites scholars and activists from across disciplines to explore how knowledge about nature, environmental destruction, and resistance is produced, circulated, and translated across cultural and political contexts. Topics include indigenous knowledge systems and territorial rights, knowledge born of environmental conflict, the conditions of academic labour, and how material and institutional contexts shape what we know and what we do. Contributions from outside academia are welcomed, and the workshop connects empirical research from Ecuador and Europe with broader questions about justice, knowledge, and ecological survival.
