Workshop on Knowledge Graphs and Model-driven Systems Engineering

Oct 25 - 25, 2026
Abstract Deadline: Jul 24, 2026
About This Conference
The Workshop on Knowledge Graphs and Model-driven Systems Engineering, held in Bari, Italy, explores the powerful synergies between knowledge graph technologies and model-driven engineering approaches in the construction of complex software and systems. As enterprises accumulate vast interconnected knowledge in graph-structured data stores, and as systems engineers increasingly rely on formal models to manage complexity, the convergence of these two paradigms opens new possibilities for semantic interoperability, automated reasoning, and intelligent system design. The workshop brings together researchers from semantic web, ontology engineering, and model-driven development communities to share methods, tools, and case studies at this productive intersection, with applications spanning smart cities, digital manufacturing, and enterprise architecture.
Call for Papers
We invite original research contributions addressing the intersection of knowledge graphs and model-driven systems engineering. Topics of interest include: ontology-driven model-driven architecture; knowledge graph construction and population from engineering models; reasoning over combined model and knowledge graph structures; SPARQL and graph query languages in systems engineering contexts; semantic interoperability between domain models and ontologies; knowledge graph-based requirements traceability; digital twin knowledge representation; model-to-ontology transformation techniques; industrial applications of knowledge graphs in systems engineering; and tool support for integrated knowledge graph and modeling workflows. Both full papers and short position papers are welcome.
