ReLDI KONFERENCIJA: Language science and technology

The ReLDI Konferencija on Language Science and Technology is organized by the Regional Linguistic Data Infrastructure, a research network dedicated to digital language resources and tools for South Slavic and other regional languages. The conference unites computational linguists, language technologists, and corpus linguists who are building the digital infrastructure that less-resourced European languages need to thrive in the age of AI.

Topics include corpus creation and annotation, NLP tools for regional languages, language resource standards, named entity recognition, dependency parsing, sentiment analysis, and the application of pretrained language models to lower-resource settings. The conference is especially valuable for researchers working on Croatian, Serbian, Slovenian, Bosnian, and neighboring languages, as well as for anyone interested in the intersection of linguistic data infrastructure and language technology deployment. Students and early-career researchers from the region are central contributors.
